Contact us about your Maasai Mara safari
Contact us by email or with the form below for a safari quote or a question about the Maasai Mara; we reply by email
You can contact us by email at contact@maasaimara.ke or with the form on this page, for a safari quote or a question about the Maasai Mara. We do not take enquiries by phone or WhatsApp, so everything you send us, and every answer we give, stays in writing where you can find it again. Tell us your travel dates, how many of you are travelling and what you would like to see, and we will reply by email.
We quote and book safaris through our authorised, highly rated tour operator partners. If you decide to go ahead, you pay the tour operator, who plans and runs your safari, and nothing is booked until the details and the price are agreed with you in writing.

What should you tell us when you contact us?
- Your travel dates, or the month you have in mind, and how many nights you would like in the Mara.
- How many adults and children are travelling, and the children's ages: child park fees and child airfares depend on age.
- Your citizenship or country of residence: Reserve fees differ for non-residents, East African residents and Kenyan citizens.
- Where you are arriving from, and whether you would rather fly to a Mara airstrip or travel by road from Nairobi.
- The kind of stay you prefer, such as a tented camp or a lodge, inside the Reserve or in a conservancy, and a rough budget per person.
- What matters most to you: the Great Migration, big cats, a hot air balloon flight, guided walks or birdwatching.
What happens after you contact us?
- We reply by email, and ask about anything we still need to know, such as your dates or the kind of camp you want.
- We send you a quote, prepared with one of our authorised tour operator partners, that sets out what is included and what is not.
- If you want to go ahead, the tour operator confirms the itinerary, the price and its booking terms in writing before you pay anything, and you pay the tour operator.
- The tour operator plans and runs your safari. You can still contact us by email with questions before you travel.
Sending an enquiry does not commit you to anything. Our terms of use explain how enquiries work.

Who should you contact about park tickets?
We do not sell, change or refund Maasai Mara park tickets. Kenya Airports Parking Services (KAPS) sells them for Narok County and the Mara Triangle, online on the KAPS ticket portal and on arrival, and your camp or operator may include them in your booking. Our guide to how to pay Maasai Mara park fees explains where to buy them and how to pay, and Maasai Mara park fees lists the rates.
For a problem with a ticket you have already bought, contact whoever sold it: your camp or operator, the KAPS contact centre at contactcentre@kaps.co.ke, the Mara Conservancy at mara@maratriangle.org for the Mara Triangle, or Narok County’s Tourism and Wildlife Department at tourism@narok.go.ke for the main Reserve. None of them publishes a dedicated ticket helpline.
What do we do with the details you send?
We use your name, email address and message to answer your enquiry and, if you ask for one, to prepare your safari quote with our tour operator partners. The phone field on the form is optional; we answer by email either way.
Our privacy policy explains what we keep, who we share it with and for how long, and your rights under Kenya’s Data Protection Act. You can contact us at any time to ask what we hold about you or to have it corrected.
