Compare lodges by setting and stay style

Open each profile for its supported room details, facilities, activities and arrival information. A lodge category is a useful way to narrow the search; the individual accommodation is what determines the stay.

The Main Reserve, Mara Triangle, neighbouring conservancies and accommodation outside the Reserve provide different settings. Location affects the wildlife area used for drives and the access arrangements. A Mara address does not automatically mean that the property is inside the Reserve, and a conservancy stay does not provide a universal pass to every wildlife area.

Choose the tier that suits your stay

Budget, Mid-range, Luxury and Ultra-luxury describe accommodation and service choices. They are separate from official star ratings and from the numeric price-range filter. A tier helps explain the style of stay; it is not determined automatically by crossing an arbitrary nightly-price threshold.

Stay type makes a different comparison: tented camps, safari lodges, cottages, houses or other established products. A furnished tent can offer substantial comfort, while a house may have a different meal and activity arrangement. Choose the actual room and services that fit your party rather than relying on the building material or a broad label.

Match location to wildlife access and arrival

Use the area guides and conservancy guide to understand the setting before selecting a camp. A settled base convenient for your intended drives can be more useful than repeatedly changing accommodation. The wildlife itinerary and the stay should work together.

The gate directory and airstrip directory help connect road or flight arrival to the accommodation. The actual route and collection arrangements matter more than a nearest-sounding access point. If your journey uses Safarilink, review its baggage information before packing.
