Porini Lion Camp offers canvas tents with private verandas beside the seasonal Ntiakatiak River in Olare Motorogi Conservancy. Its dining tent, lounge and campfire spaces provide a quiet break between shared day drives, night viewing and guided walks. The setting

In Olare Motorogi Conservancy, bordering the Maasai Mara National Reserve. The camp is beside the seasonal Ntiakatiak River in a managed wildlife setting; conservancy and Reserve access are separate.

Gate & airstrip access

Fly-in arrival: Olare Orok is the designated local airstrip. Its camp transfer is included in the supporting ground tariff; flights and airport taxes are separate. Coordinate the actual flight, meeting point and onward transfer.

Road arrival: Agree the approach and meeting point for the departure location, road conditions and authorised conservancy vehicle arrangement. An outside vehicle does not automatically provide unrestricted conservancy driving access.

Reserve visits: The selected ground product includes one full Reserve day with picnic lunch and its entry fee for three-night stays. Plan the gate, route and any additional visitor or vehicle charges with the guide. No nearest-gate distance or guaranteed transfer time is adopted.

Families & children

Children over eight are welcome. Give every child’s exact age and the requested sleeping arrangement. Family accommodation and guided-walking eligibility are separate. No public child-discount figure or automatic private-vehicle entitlement is assumed. Parents and guardians remain responsible for supervision.

Natural paths and tent access require a property-specific mobility assessment. Describe steps, bathroom and safari-vehicle boarding requirements before booking. No verified wheelchair-accessible room or step-free bathroom specification is claimed.

The ordinary lodge allowance uses shared camp vehicles. An exclusive vehicle needs advance booking and a separate charge. A complete private safari quote specifies dedicated guiding and authorised conservancy transport, with scheduled compulsory charges included. Confirm the room, child ages, dates, included conservancy allowance and any separately specified contribution in the written quote.
