Staying at Talek Bush Camp

Talek Bush Camp stands beside the Talek River near Talek Gate, outside the National Reserve. Bush and River tents, cabins, family accommodation, houses and a serviced campsite provide different ways to stay; each has its own rooming and occupancy basis. The ordinary full-board room basis includes meals, drinking water, tea and coffee, with wildlife drives, entry and transfers arranged separately. Safari House

Two queen beds and four single beds across three master bedrooms · Private en-suite bathroom

House accommodation with private entrance, kitchenware, fireplace, television, refrigerator and a waterhole hide. Whole-house occupancy, meal allowance and kitchen access depend on the selected house product.

The setting

Beside the Talek River near Talek Gate, outside the Maasai Mara National Reserve. Reserve entry and transport are separately arranged with the accommodation-only stay.

Gate & airstrip access

The current camp brochure lists Olkiombo and Keekorok as possible air arrival options. Agree the actual landing strip and camp pickup before buying flights. Road access uses local murram tracks; the transfer route and timing depend on the booked journey and current conditions. Notify the property of the expected arrival time.

Families & children

Children of all ages are welcome. The property-controlled accommodation policy charges children aged thirteen and over as adults and lists no cots or extra beds. Room occupancy uses the selected category’s existing beds and each child’s age at travel. Separate safari-package child discounts do not automatically apply to accommodation-only stays. Parents or guardians must supervise children around the pool, river and wildlife setting; activity eligibility depends on the selected programme.

Accessibility

Rooms, bathrooms, surfaces, routes to the restaurant and vehicle boarding affect suitability for individual access needs.

Rates & booking

Accommodation-only full board does not include game drives, Reserve fees or transfers. The separately sold camp safari packages have their own transport, activities, inclusions and payment conditions. Cancellation and prepayment depend on the selected accommodation offer. Our complete private safari arrangement includes dedicated transport and guiding and all scheduled compulsory charges; payment is made to the tour operator responsible for the safari.
