Rekero Camp stands beneath trees beside the Talek River inside the Maasai Mara National Reserve. Updated guest tents have private verandas and hot-water showers, with family suites offering a separate room arrangement. In Maasai Mara National Reserve. A shaded riverside setting overlooking the Talek River, inside the Reserve. Wildlife and river crossings vary with conditions and season.

Gate & airstrip access

Ol Kiombo Airstrip is the designated arrival point. The included local camp transfer is separate from flights and airport taxes.

Road access depends on the departure location, road conditions and booked camp meeting point. Reserve entrance and applicable vehicle and gate charges depend on the itinerary. A departure-day game drive or additional entry is separate from the ordinary lodge allowance.

Families & children

Children aged five and older are welcome. Family accommodation and activity eligibility are separate. Families with children aged five to twelve have a pre-booked private-vehicle arrangement under the supplier’s season, party-size and availability terms; an extra charge can apply. Child pricing and room allocation depend on ages and sleeping arrangements. The ordinary adult-sharing base includes neither a child discount nor a free exclusive vehicle. Parents and guardians supervise children.

Accessibility

Raised verandas, natural camp paths, bathroom access and safari-vehicle boarding affect mobility access. Suitable room and transport arrangements depend on individual requirements.

Rates & booking

Ordinary camp drives are shared. Exclusive vehicle use has a separate charge for an ordinary two-adult booking. Complete private safaris use dedicated transport and guiding, with all scheduled compulsory charges included. Emergency Support Cover applies under the supplier terms unless a formal alternative-cover agreement is accepted; no waiver is assumed. It supplements personal travel insurance rather than replacing it.
