Staying at Sekenani Camp

Sekenani Camp has furnished safari tents with wooden floors and private bathrooms containing full-length bathtubs. A suspension bridge connects the tent area with the restaurant and bar, making the dining route part of the stay’s access considerations. Single, double and triple rooming depend on the allocated tent and travelling party. The two-adult full-board basis covers accommodation and meals, with Reserve outings, guiding, drinks and transfers separate. Power schedules and bridge access affect individual equipment and mobility needs. The wider planning context includes Mara seasonal weather, Mara flight connections and the safari cost guide.

Location & arrival

The setting

At the source of the Sekenani River, bordering the National Reserve in the Sekenani area. Road access connects with the Sekenani approach. Reserve outings need the agreed vehicle, guide, entry and permitted route; the camp stay does not grant private conservancy activity rights.

Gate & airstrip access

Road arrival follows the Sekenani approach and the camp’s final access route. Fly-in connections involve the selected Mara landing point and a separately arranged camp transfer; an all-airstrip pickup allowance is not established. Journey duration and nearest-gate distance are not fixed. Meals, luggage transfer and camp-path movement form part of the arrival arrangements.
