Staying at Angama Safari Camp

Angama Safari Camp uses a light canvas design and private campsites within the Mara Triangle. Guest tents have king or twin beds, writing desks, dressing space, double vanities and twin bucket showers. Canvas sides open towards the plains, while the main tent combines a lounge and dining area with outdoor gathering space. The camp team runs guided drives, and the ordinary rate includes meals, drinks apart from French champagne, nearby airstrip transfers and laundry. Gate & airstrip access

Transfer from the closest airstrip is included. The actual airstrip follows the movable camp’s selected site. Flights and transfers from other Mara locations are separate.

Children of all ages are welcomed. Children occupying their own tent pay adult rates. Families travelling with children aged six or younger require a private safari vehicle. A limited number of triple tent setups are available; tents do not interconnect.

Rates & booking

The standard-season adult-sharing rate applies in October and through late December; peak-season prices are higher. Families travelling with children aged six or younger require a private safari vehicle. Own-tent children pay adult rates. Park fees and the Foundation contribution are additional compulsory charges.
