Cottar’s 1920s Safari Camp pairs vintage canvas accommodation and communal Mess Tent spaces with Luxury Double, Family and Honeymoon Tent choices. Family bedrooms form part of their tent unit; the Bush Villa is a separate product. Two en-suite bedrooms, shared living space with a wood-burning stove, and a private deck. Dedicated guide and vehicle arrangements belong to this category and its confirmed occupancy terms, not to an ordinary two-adult Luxury Tent.

Honeymoon Tents

Kiboko and Molo have spacious private verandas and different outdoor bathing arrangements. Their whole-tent tariffs are separate from the Luxury Tent PPS starting amount.

Eleven guest tents: five Luxury Double Tents, four Family Tents and two Honeymoon Tents. Family bedrooms are not counted as separate tents. The Bush Villa and guide accommodation are separate. Location & arrival

The setting

In Olderkesi Conservancy in the southern Greater Maasai Mara, outside the National Reserve. Wildlife drives can explore the conservancy and the Reserve under the agreed programme. The neighbouring Bush Villa is a separate exclusive-use product and is not included in this camp inventory.

Gate & airstrip access

Cottar's Private Airstrip is the designated arrival point, with its camp transfers included. Airlines have different routing and passenger requirements; confirm the booked flight will land there. Flights are extra.

Keekorok is an alternative with a separately charged transfer. The supplier has a narrow exception for flights unable to land at Cottar's strip, subject to prior confirmation; it does not make all Keekorok transfers free.

Road arrival and Reserve outings use the agreed route and gate for the departure point and conditions. Sekenani and Talek appear in the operator transfer list. No nearest-gate distance or fixed road journey time is claimed.

Families & children

Children of all ages are welcome. Family Tents provide separate bedrooms; Luxury Tent extra beds depend on the individual layout. Child prices vary by age, room and sharing arrangement, so give every child's age with the request. Nanny service is listed with advance booking, at least two weeks before arrival, subject to availability. Parents and guardians remain responsible for supervision; pools have no lifeguard. Walking, balloon flights and other activities have separate safety and eligibility conditions.

Accessibility

The operator identifies some wheelchair-friendly tents while explaining that the property is not adapted throughout. Paths, gradients, bathrooms and vehicle boarding need assessment for the particular guest. Describe access needs before a tent is allocated; a general wheelchair-friendly description does not establish that every room or route is step-free.

Rates & booking

The ordinary Luxury Tent includes shared safari activities. A guaranteed exclusive vehicle is an extra for two adults. Family Tent and Bush Villa vehicle entitlements do not transfer to this starting tariff. Our complete private safari quote specifies dedicated guiding and authorised transport for your party, with scheduled compulsory park and conservancy charges included. The room, occupancy, travel dates and services determine the final written quote.
