Hemingways River Camp Mara

Classic Safari Tents admit children from eight years, with a maximum of one child sharing with two adults under the ordinary supplier conditions. Family and Private Safari Suites have no age restriction. Child prices depend on age, room category and sleeping arrangements; the adult-sharing amount does not establish a child discount. Guided walks, balloon flights and other activities have separate safety and eligibility conditions. Parents remain responsible for supervision.

Tent entrances, outdoor paths and vehicle boarding need assessment against the individual traveller’s requirements. An adapted bathroom or fully step-free route has not been verified.

The starting amount refers to two adults sharing a Classic Safari Tent in the regular November 1–December 17 period, with full board and the camp programme; separately priced suites and special offers use different bases. Hemingways River Camp Mara is the current name of the former Richard’s River Camp. The ordinary rate lists camp game drives but separately charges a dedicated private vehicle; do not assume guaranteed private guiding from a general experience heading. Airstrip transfers and bush dinners may be shared. Our complete private safari arrangement includes a dedicated vehicle and guiding for your party, with scheduled compulsory access charges included. Accommodation Only retains the confirmed camp service basis. Comprehensive travel and medical insurance and temporary Amref Flying Doctors membership are required. The operator requires a 20% non-refundable deposit and full payment 60 days before travel. Refunds are not guaranteed for unfulfilled excursions or accommodation. Cancellation, arrival and departure conditions follow the written booking.
