Plan the journey

Location & arrival

The setting

Salt Springs Mara Camp’s historical setting is beside the Mara River near Mararianta Bridge in the northwestern Greater Mara, with views towards the Oloololo escarpment. Riverine vegetation, open plains and the Musiara side of the Mara shape the regional safari setting. Reserve entry and private land access are distinct components of the wider itinerary.

Gate & airstrip access

Road access to the northwestern Mara follows the Narok–Ngorengore–Lemek corridor. Musiara serves the surrounding safari area by air, with an onward road transfer between the airstrip and accommodation. Road conditions and the selected approach affect journey times.

Flights and airstrip transfers are separate from the adult full-board room basis. The arrival route and meeting point form part of the complete itinerary.
