Wild Bandas suits travellers who want a smaller riverside property and time for conservation experiences alongside wildlife viewing. Twin or double ensuite bandas share a swimming pool and guest areas; the standard full-board stay does not include a dedicated safari vehicle or conservancy entry. The setting

On the old Mara Beef Farm beside the Mara River, close to Emarti Bridge and the edge of Enonkishu Conservancy in the northern Greater Mara ecosystem. This is a Wild Hub accommodation product, separate from House in the Wild and the Naretoi private villas.

Gate & airstrip access

Fly-in arrival: Ngerende Airstrip transfers are included in the published Wild Bandas full-board arrangement. Other road transfers and private-charter flights cost extra.

Reserve excursions: This northern Greater Mara stay requires a separately planned drive and the applicable admission for visits to the National Reserve.

Families & children

Children of all ages are welcome. The supplier publishes a separate child tariff; the adult-sharing From price is not a family rate. Children require supervision around the river and pool.

Rates & booking

The specific 2026 tariff lists closure from 20 December to 4 January 2027; this dated closure takes precedence over the generic year-round wording. Comprehensive medical, repatriation and cancellation insurance is required. The supplier terms state a non-refundable 20% deposit, balance 46 days before arrival, 50% cancellation charge 45–31 days before and 100% within 30 days. Accommodation Only follows the selected room and board basis. Our complete private safari quotes specify dedicated vehicles, guiding, transfers and scheduled compulsory access charges.
