Staying at Mara Siria Tented Camp

Canvas tents and solid-wall cottages have different layouts at Mara Siria, from ordinary Luxury Double Tents to separate family accommodation. Private terraces and ensuite showers accompany the rooms, while the shared plunge pool overlooks the Mara River landscape. Rocky escarpment paths and edges make mobility and supervised movement material to the stay. Full board excludes Reserve admission, drives and transfers; shared camp drives and dedicated guiding have separate terms. Deluxe Family Tent

Separate family accommodation with an extended veranda and the deluxe bathroom specification. Family pricing depends on its occupancy.

Luxury Cottages

Double or family configuration · Private en-suite bathroom

Solid-wall round accommodation with a terrace, flush toilet and safari shower. One larger cottage accommodates up to four guests; cottage allocation is category-specific.

The camp has sixteen tents and cottages in total. Pool and deck photographs show shared camp spaces; the wildlife image is illustrative Maasai Mara context, not a sighting at the property. Beds and bedding, bathroom access, drinking water and housekeeping are available.

Location & arrival

The setting

On top of the Siria Escarpment, outside the National Reserve, with views across the Mara Triangle and Mara River landscape. A stay at the camp does not itself provide Reserve admission. Wildlife drives follow the Mara Triangle access rules.

Gate & airstrip access

Kichwa Tembo is the operator-designated nearest airstrip. Its ground package includes airstrip transfers; the full-board self-drive basis does not. Road directions approach via the Kichwa Tembo area towards the escarpment. A high-clearance four-wheel-drive vehicle is recommended by the camp. Journey duration and any Reserve transit arrangements must fit the booked routing.

Families & children

Children can be accommodated in the camp’s family tent or an agreed tent or cottage arrangement. A Deluxe Family Tent has a king-size bed and two single beds; the larger cottage accommodates up to four guests. Extra beds and cots in a Luxury Double Tent are on request. Admission, bedding and child prices depend on each child’s age and the allocated category. The two-adult starting amount does not price a family. Parents supervise children around the pool, escarpment edges and wildlife setting; guided activities have their own eligibility conditions.

Accessibility

Escarpment terrain, rock edges, paths and safari vehicle boarding make mobility suitability dependent on the allocated room and transfer. Step-free routes and adapted bathroom specifications are not established; individual mobility requirements form part of the room and transfer agreement.

Rates & booking

Full Board Non-Resident Rate includes breakfast, lunch and dinner and is a booking-inquiry product, rather than an accepted reservation. Game drives and transfers are paid extras; the ground-package add-on uses shared drives. A complete private safari through MaasaiMara.ke includes a dedicated vehicle, professional guiding and scheduled compulsory entry charges. Accommodation Only covers the selected accommodation and camp services.
