Musiara Gate is a road entrance to the main Maasai Mara National Reserve. It is distinct from Musiara Airstrip, which handles flight arrivals, and Musiara Marsh, which is a wildlife habitat.

Musiara Gate: approach and gate role
A road arrival uses the gate and camp approach. A fly-in arrival uses the booked airstrip and a collection vehicle. The shared Musiara name does not make the gate, strip and marsh interchangeable navigation points.
Camp access and arrival
Governors’ Camp describes its location beside Musiara Marsh inside the Reserve and uses Musiara Airstrip for flight arrivals. The wider area includes wetland, riverine vegetation and open grassland. Other stays need to be identified by their actual boundary location and camp approach.

Admission and visitor documents
Use the Reserve entry guide for the visitor-category documents and ticket conditions that apply to the stay. Direct admission is arranged through the KAPS ticket portal. An outside camp and a stay inside the Reserve have different arrival and daily-entry arrangements.
