Staying at Kandili Camp

Private verandas and en-suite bathrooms are part of Kandili Camp’s canvas accommodation in Leopard Gorge. Superior tents provide more space than Standard tents, and the connected family arrangement combines double and twin tents through a lounge. Suites add separate living space, a large terrace and an outdoor fire pit. Guided nature walks and birdwatching suit the conservancy setting, with night drives subject to local permissions. Safari costs distinguish full board from shared and private drive packages. Fly-in arrangements vary with the package, and seasonal weather influences veranda time and outdoor activities.

Larger accommodation with private veranda and ensuite facilities. The interconnected family arrangement uses Superior tents and is separately agreed.

Connected Superior tents with shared lounge space. Supplier terms allow a maximum of two adults and three children in the family arrangement; these are existing Superior tents, not extra units added to the camp total.

Separate bedroom and living space, a large terrace and an outdoor fire pit. Supplier family capacity is two adults and two children. A suite is a separate category from the Standard tent price.

Eleven guest tents offer Standard, Superior and Suite accommodation. The connected family option uses Superior tents joined by a lounge, while suites have separate bedroom and living space, a large terrace and an outdoor fire pit. Categories have different bedding arrangements and prices.

The setting

In Leopard Gorge Conservancy, overlooking the Oloololo escarpment and the Mara plains, outside the National Reserve. Guided nature walks and night drives follow conservancy permissions. Reserve excursions require their own entry arrangements and vehicle programme.

Gate & airstrip access

Musiara Gate is a nearby National Reserve access point. Road routes, meeting points and landing strips follow the booked itinerary. Airstrip transfers are extra on full board and included in the Game Package; flights and transfers beyond the camp arrangement are additional.

Families & children

Children up to and including three years sharing with adults stay free under the supplier’s accommodation and activity terms. Child rates apply from four to twelve and adult rates from thirteen. Standard and Superior tents accommodate up to three people. The connected family arrangement allows two adults and three children; suites allow two adults and two children. Bedding depends on the selected category. Walks, balloon flights and other activities have separate participant and safety conditions. Children require adult supervision and staff-guided movement in the unfenced camp.

Accessibility

Mobility arrangements depend on canvas tent thresholds, outdoor paths, bathroom layout and safari-vehicle boarding. Assistance is assessed for the selected category and the traveller’s requirements.

Rates & booking

Full Board, Game Package and Signature Package have distinct inclusions. Game Package adds shared drives, one sundowner and airstrip transfers. Signature Package adds private drives, a private sundowner, a private bush meal and selected drinks. Reserve and conservancy fees remain extra under these camp products. Written confirmation, a deposit, advance final payment, cancellation charges and checkout conditions apply. Travel and medical cover, including emergency evacuation, forms part of pre-travel arrangements. Our All-Inclusive Safari includes dedicated vehicles, guiding and scheduled compulsory charges; Accommodation Only retains its camp basis.
