Muthu Mara River Lodge’s Mara River setting combines gardens, a swimming pool and communal dining near Aitong in the Lemek area. The setting

On the Mara River in Lemek Conservancy, near Aitong in the northern Greater Mara. This is a conservancy lodge outside the Maasai Mara National Reserve; Reserve outings have their own entry arrangements. Historical David Livingstone Safari Resort and Mara River Lodge names are retained for property search.

Gate & airstrip access

Mara North Airstrip serves fly-in access, with an onward road transfer to the lodge. Flights and transfers are separate from the full-board room basis. Road access approaches the river setting near Aitong and Lemek; the route and meeting point depend on the departure location and road conditions.

An outside vehicle needs the appropriate permissions for conservancy drives. National Reserve outings have a separate gate route and applicable entry charges.

Room patios, pathways and the lodge grounds have differing surfaces and steps. Mobility requirements, bathroom access and safari-vehicle boarding affect the suitable room and transport arrangements.

Rates & booking

The full-board room basis covers accommodation and the specified meals, with game drives and entry separate. A lodge vehicle is not an automatic inclusion for a two-adult full-board-only stay; private vehicle use has separate party and operating conditions. Complete private safari arrangements include authorised dedicated transport, guiding and all scheduled compulsory fees. Comprehensive medical and travel insurance is required.
