Safarilink connects Nairobi Wilson Airport with the Maasai Mara and other Kenyan safari destinations. Travellers can book a scheduled seat, connect safari regions or request a private charter, with the landing airstrip selected around their camp and ground transfer.

The published timetable and Safarilink’s destination webpage give different times and season dates. This table follows the timetable; the confirmed booking establishes the operating flight. Flights can call at several airstrips, with a maximum of four stops. Early and afternoon services require at least four passengers.
Safarilink routes and connections
Safarilink links the Mara with Amboseli, northern Kenya and selected regional gateways. Some services operate only in high season or route through Wilson in low season. The timetable includes a seasonal Mara-to-Diani/Mombasa service; the reverse coastal journey generally connects through Wilson. A coast-to-Mara booking must therefore identify its connection rather than assume a nonstop flight.

Safarilink aircraft and cabin
The Cessna C208B Caravan is Safarilink’s bush-flight workhorse, configured for up to twelve passengers. The airline also operates Dash 8 turboprops with larger cabins. Aircraft assignment depends on the service, airstrip and load; the aircraft shown in the photographs represents the published fleet rather than a guaranteed allocation.
Safarilink baggage and equipment
For Mara safari flights, the published allowance is 15 kg including hand luggage in soft bags. A higher allowance on some coastal or regional sectors does not automatically increase the allowance on a connecting Mara flight. Reserve extra baggage capacity in advance when carrying camera equipment or a larger safari bag. Free secure luggage storage is available at the Wilson office.
Airport arrival and check-in
The latest Wilson check-in is 60 minutes before departure, with 30 minutes at bush airstrips. Flights can depart early once their passengers are checked in. Operations provides the individual airstrip timing the previous afternoon; keep your camp informed of the confirmed service and collection point.
Land near your Maasai Mara camp
Safarilink’s booking network includes Musiara, Ol Kiombo, Kichwa Tembo, Mara Serena, Mara North, Ngerende, Olare Orok, Ol Seki/Naboisho, Siana and Cottar’s. Published listings also name Keekorok. Operational notices, aircraft limits and the camp’s road access determine the confirmed strip.
The Maasai Mara airstrip guide explains the landing areas. Browse camps and lodges to match the flight with your accommodation; reserve or conservancy access and game drives are separate from the flight unless included in your package.

Safarilink ticket and charter conditions
The published child fare for ages two to eleven is 75% of the applicable Y or M class fare; other fare classes can have different rules. Tickets are non-transferable, with amendments, cancellation and refund treatment governed by their fare conditions. Safarilink guarantees connections it operates within its own network, subject to its terms; a separate international ticket needs a suitable connection margin.
Keep the confirmed route, passenger details, reporting time and ticket conditions together. A flight enquiry is a request for availability and a quotation; it does not hold a seat or aircraft. The accepted booking establishes the service and its payment and cancellation terms.

Check the complete onward connection
A Mara airstrip, Nairobi airport and onward Zanzibar flight are distinct stages. Read the Mara-to-Zanzibar connection guidance and request the actual airline itinerary for your dates. This airline’s Mara service or baggage rules alone do not establish a nonstop Zanzibar route or an included airport transfer.
