The setting

At the foot of Oloolaimutia hills in Emboo village, outside the Maasai Mara National Reserve. Oloolaimutia is the local Reserve-access gate; Sekenani is an alternative route.

Gate & airstrip access

Arrange road arrival to the Emboo village camp. For arrival via Keekorok, agree the flight, ground transfer and gate route together.

Families & children

Children of all ages are welcome under the current accommodation house policy. Cots and extra beds are not available. Quote the actual children’s ages, existing beds and room occupants; the adult-sharing base does not establish child discounts or free places. Children remain supervised in the wildlife setting, and optional walks and balloon flights follow their own age, health and safety acceptance.

Accessibility

Raised tent verandas have entrance steps. Discuss step access, bathroom layout and vehicle boarding for the individual traveller.

Rates & booking

Check-in is from 12:00 to midnight and check-out from 10:00 to 11:00. Cancellation and prepayment depend on the selected accommodation offer. Bachelor or similar parties are not accepted. Room confirmation, payment and cancellation terms are set out in the selected booking. MaasaiMara.ke quotes and books through authorised tour operator partners; the client pays the operator fulfilling the trip.
