Round-house cottage buildings with sheltered verandas give Mara Sopa Lodge its hillside character on the Oloolaimutia slopes. Shared amenities include a swimming pool, buffet dining room and outdoor timber dining deck. Suites, a Honeymoon Suite and interconnecting arrangements are separate room choices. Location & arrival

The setting

On the slopes of the Oloolaimutia Hills, outside the National Reserve. Reserve outings use the agreed Oloolaimutia or Sekenani gate, permitted route and entry allowance. The lodge stay does not establish private conservancy activity rights.

Gate & airstrip access

Road arrivals follow the Oloolaimutia approach or another selected route. Keekorok is the named fly-in reference, with a separate ground transfer. Journey duration and gate distance are not fixed because the published road and transfer times conflict. The route connects lodge arrival with meals and the safari programme.

Outdoor paths, room verandas and steps connect some communal areas; steps run from reception to the lounge. Individual accessibility depends on the allocated room, bathroom, restaurant route and safari-vehicle boarding. A property-wide step-free or wheelchair-access specification is not established.

Our complete private safaris include dedicated vehicles and guiding for the travelling party, with scheduled compulsory Reserve and selected-property charges.
