Cultural visits

By arrangement

Maasai community visits follow the host’s permission and programme, with separate transport and any participation charges. The host’s programme governs participation and photographs.

Balloon safari

By arrangement

Balloon flights have an advance booking, passenger eligibility requirements and an early transfer. Weather and the operator’s safety decisions determine operation. Flight, transfer and applicable Reserve-entry charges are separate from the accommodation basis.

The setting

Mara Springs Safari Camp is in Sekenani Valley in the Greater Mara, outside the Maasai Mara National Reserve. The furnished tented stay is a base for separately arranged Reserve safaris. Reserve entry and safari transport are extra to the accommodation basis; private conservancy access has its own arrangements.

Gate & airstrip access

Road access follows the Sekenani Valley approach, with journey conditions dependent on weather and route. Keekorok and Siana-area air access require an onward transfer. Flights and airstrip transfers are separate from the adult full-board accommodation basis, with any necessary Reserve entry forming part of the transfer itinerary.

The camp has no front desk. Check-in instructions are arranged in advance, including for late arrivals.

Accessibility

Steps, outdoor paths, bathroom access and safari-vehicle boarding affect mobility arrangements. Camp paths, guided activities and visits to the Reserve follow the host and guide’s access permissions and safety programme.

Accommodation-only stays cover the furnished tent and selected meal plan; Reserve entry, guiding and transport are separate. Complete private safari arrangements combine the tent stay with dedicated guiding, a vehicle and all scheduled compulsory charges.
There is no front desk; arrival arrangements are supplied in advance, including for late arrivals. The lead check-in guest must be at least eighteen, with the identification or incidental deposit required by the booked terms. Balloon safaris and other optional activities have separate eligibility and cancellation conditions.
