The coastal network covers Mombasa, Diani/Ukunda and Malindi, with the aircraft’s routing determining individual timings. The published coast-to-Mara fare is USD 295 plus USD 35 fuel; Mara-to-coast is USD 420 plus USD 35 fuel. The return coastal fare is USD 550 plus USD 70 fuel. Amboseli and Tsavo West connections have their own operating minimums and fares.

Mombasa Air Safari primarily operates Cessna 208B Grand Caravans, with up to thirteen passenger seats. These single-engine turboprops are designed for bush-runway operations. The operator states that its Caravans do not carry cabin attendants. Aircraft capacity, passenger weights and the chosen airstrip can limit the available load.

Mombasa Air Safari baggage and equipment

The published allowance is 15 kg total per passenger, including cameras and hand baggage. Soft-sided duffels or rucksacks are required on the light aircraft. Excess baggage is accepted only with the captain’s approval and the applicable freight charge. Separate beach luggage from the compact bag needed for the Mara sector.
