Governors’ Aviation flights to the Maasai Mara
Governors’ Aviation is the Governors’ Camp Collection’s flight service, operating scheduled flights from Nairobi Wilson to the Maasai Mara alongside private charters. Its network also links selected Laikipia, Naivasha and Amboseli destinations, subject to the published operating conditions.

The seasonal early flight has a maximum of two stops. Mara flights require at least two passengers. Multi-stop routing and alternative-carrier arrangements can affect the exact journey.
Governors’ Aviation routes and connections
Governors’ publishes Loldia-to-Mara and Laikipia-to-Mara connections as well as Amboseli/Kimana links. The Loldia–Mara selling rate is USD 298 one way; Laikipia–Mara is USD 444 and Amboseli/Kimana–Mara USD 484. Amboseli services have seasonal minimum passenger requirements and may be routed through Nairobi.
Governors’ Aviation aircraft and cabin
Governors’ Aviation operates Cessna Grand Caravans. The operator’s own aircraft support its scheduled camp network and private charters, but it reserves the right to place confirmed passengers on an equivalent service when its aircraft are not flying. A Governors’ booking therefore does not guarantee that every sector will use a Governors’-branded aircraft.
Governors’ Aviation baggage and equipment
Use a soft-sided bag for the published 15 kg total allowance, including hand luggage. The operator’s webpage and baggage document differ over small hard-shell cases, so a soft bag is the reliable packing choice. Extra baggage depends on available aircraft space and the applicable arrangement; avoid assuming that a long-haul allowance carries through to the bush flight.
Airport arrival and check-in
The booking identifies the Wilson reporting point and the confirmed Mara airstrip. Coordinate the arrival with the camp’s collection vehicle. Flights may collect guests at other strips before returning to Nairobi, so a printed departure time is not the same as a guaranteed nonstop journey duration.
Land near your Maasai Mara camp
The network lists Musiara, Kichwa Tembo, Mara Serena, Ol Kiombo, Ol Seki/Naboisho, Olare Orok, Cottar’s, Ol Kurruk/Angama, Ngerende and Mara North. Keekorok is also listed. The selected camp, operational notices and final flight routing determine the actual strip and collection time.

Governors’ Aviation ticket and charter conditions
Child rates apply to ages two to fifteen in the published rate sheet. The operator requires travellers to hold suitable travel insurance. Seasonal passenger minimums apply to some safari-to-safari routes, and equivalent-airline rebooking is permitted under the published conditions. Private charters require their own route-specific quotation.
Keep the confirmed route, passenger details, reporting time and ticket conditions together. A flight enquiry is a request for availability and a quotation; it does not hold a seat or aircraft. The accepted booking establishes the service and its payment and cancellation terms.
