The setting

In Mara North Conservancy, above the Mara River, with views towards the Siria escarpment. This is the original Serian camp, distinct from Ngare Serian across the river and Serian’s Nkorombo inside the National Reserve. Conservancy location is not blanket National Reserve access.

Gate & airstrip access

The operator identifies Mara North as its preferred airstrip. Coordinate the actual flight and camp transfer in the written itinerary before buying tickets. No fixed transfer duration or nearest Reserve gate distance is claimed. Road access depends on the booked camp route and current conditions.

Families & children

The operator welcomes family stays and provides a family unit. Room choice depends on each child’s age, adult count and sleeping needs. Child pricing, allocation and activity eligibility have separate terms; no minimum-age, free-stay or free-activity promise is established. Accompanying children require adequate insurance. Parents or guardians remain responsible for their children.

Accessibility

Describe mobility requirements before choosing the actual tent and programme. Hardwood decks do not establish a wholly step-free route or adapted bathroom. Room approaches and vehicle boarding need individual consideration.

Rates & booking

The camp’s ordinary service includes exclusive use of a safari vehicle with a dedicated guide and spotter. Room, meal, drink, transfer and access-charge inclusions depend on the booked stay. Accommodation Only follows the camp basis. The operator requires clients and accompanying children to be adequately insured and requires a signed supplier safari waiver before the safari can commence. Payment deadlines, deposits, cancellation conditions and minimum stay apply before confirmation. The registration form presents Flying Doctors membership as a Yes or No choice; a universal membership requirement has not been established. A complete private safari through MaasaiMara.ke includes the actual room category, dedicated transport and guiding, scheduled compulsory access charges and transfers in one itinerary.
