Staying at Kilima Camp

Timber floors, hot showers and private verandas give Kilima Camp’s Classic tents a comfortable base above the Mara plains. Deluxe accommodation includes family and honeymoon choices, while Osim Private House has its own verandas and plunge pools under a separate house booking. Guided nature walks and birdwatching complement wildlife outings into the Mara landscape. Safari costs differ between full board and the shared game package. Kichwa Tembo transfers connect the latter with fly-in travel, while seasonal weather shapes time on the escarpment’s outdoor decks and paths.

Osim Private House

Twelve Classic and three Deluxe tents are separate from Osim Private House, which is bookable exclusively or by wings. Tent and house products have their own bedding arrangements, prices and facilities.

Location & arrival

The setting

On the Oloololo escarpment overlooking the Mara plains and Mara River, outside the National Reserve. Wildlife drives in the Mara Triangle require the relevant access arrangements. An elevated view over the Reserve does not mean the guest accommodation is inside it.

Gate & airstrip access

Kichwa Tembo Airstrip is the camp’s designated fly-in arrival point. Its return transfers belong to the game-package arrangement; flights are extra. Road arrivals follow the camp’s detailed directions, with route and vehicle agreed for the actual itinerary.

Families & children

Families are welcome. Family Deluxe accommodation provides space for two adults and two children below twelve. Ages, bedding and any cot requirements determine acceptance of the selected tent or house product. Parents are responsible around escarpment paths, verandas, wildlife and private pools. Guided walks, horse riding and balloon flights have their own participant eligibility and safety conditions.

Accessibility

Mobility arrangements depend on escarpment paths, tent access, timber decks, bathroom layout and safari-vehicle boarding. The assessment relates to the selected tent or house wing.

Rates & booking

Full board covers accommodation, meals and guided nature walks. The game package adds shared wildlife drives, designated airstrip transfers and beverages. Private guiding and the exclusive-house product are separate services. Category, vehicle basis, taxes, access charges, deposit, cancellation and promotion conditions determine the booked total. Comprehensive travel and medical cover, including emergency evacuation, forms part of pre-travel arrangements. Our All-Inclusive Safari includes dedicated vehicles, guiding and scheduled compulsory charges; Accommodation Only retains its camp product.
