Staying at Soroi Mara Bush Camp

Soroi’s Safari Tents have mosquito netting, ensuite indoor showers and private verandas in riverine forest beside the Olare Orok River. Family Tents and the closer-set Bush Wing have distinct layouts and prices; Soroi Private Wing is a separate product. Solar power and camp Wi-Fi accompany the accommodation. Maasai night guards provide the safety framework for movement through this unfenced riverbank setting, particularly after dark. The setting

In riverine forest beside the Olare Orok River, inside the Maasai Mara National Reserve according to the current operator. This is Soroi Mara Bush Camp; the separately marketed Soroi Private Wing is a different product. The camp is unfenced, with Maasai night guards. Staff movement and escort rules apply, particularly after dark and near the river.

Gate & airstrip access

Ol Kiombo is the arrival airstrip. Flights, camp transfers and any road itinerary have booking-specific arrangements and directions. Ol Kiombo transfers are extra on the Full Board product; the Ground Package has different inclusions.

Families & children

The current camp FAQ welcomes children of all ages. Family Tents accommodate up to four guests with a king-size bed and two singles; the actual allocation and child price depend on all ages and sleeping needs. Activity age limits have separate eligibility conditions. The camp is explicitly unfenced and beside a river; parental supervision and staff movement/escort rules apply. Mara Bush School activities are described by the operator but do not establish included babysitting or unrestricted independent play.

Accessibility

Selected areas are wheelchair accessible with assistance; this does not establish a whole-camp step-free route. Suitability depends on the tent, bathroom and transfer vehicle. Rooms use natural ventilation and fans, rather than an established air-conditioning specification.

Rates & booking

The standard Full Board product requires a twenty-percent deposit. Cancellation up to thirty days before arrival costs twenty percent of reservation value; later cancellation or non-arrival costs the full reservation value. A loyalty discount is separate from the starting price used here. Camp payments are cashless. Taxes and mandatory charges are separate from the room amount. A complete private safari through MaasaiMara.ke includes a dedicated vehicle, professional guiding, transfers and scheduled compulsory access charges; Accommodation Only covers the selected camp product.
