Staying at Sanctuary Olonana

Sanctuary Olonana’s glass-and-adobe suites overlook a secluded stretch of the Mara River in a private conservancy bordering the National Reserve. Ordinary Suites have river-facing terraces, seating, baths and rain showers; three Family Suites add an adjoining bedroom. The separate Geoffrey Kent Suite has a heated private pool, chef and exclusive vehicle and guide. River-facing dining, a main swimming pool and paid spa treatments complement the lodge’s activity programme. Oloisukut walks and night outings use separate conservancy arrangements. Our safari cost guide explains product and access costs, the Mara flight guide covers local airstrip travel, and the weather guide describes seasonal river-landscape conditions.

Families & children

Children of all ages are welcome; those under fifteen must share with an adult. Family Suites have a four-guest basis, while the separate Geoffrey Kent Suite has a six-guest basis. Children’s retreat activities serve ages four to twelve, with tailored options for teens. Bedding and vehicles are family-specific, and activities have their own participation conditions. Retreat sessions have arranged supervision and timing. Parents supervise children around the river, pools and decks.

Accessibility

Suite entrances, bathrooms, terraces, paths and safari-vehicle boarding affect individual access. Children require supervision beside the river, pools and decks.
