Accommodation categories

Budget, Mid-range, Luxury and Ultra-luxury describe accommodation and service levels. They are separate from official star ratings and are not assigned automatically by a nightly-price threshold. The Category filter brings these choices together with Eco-friendly camps and Private villas and safari houses.

Eco-friendly membership reflects recorded operator evidence about environmental practices or conservation and community relationships. It can overlap a price and service category. Private villas and safari houses identify the accommodation format, including exclusive living space for one travelling party. A property can belong to more than one category while appearing only once in the results.

Rooms, stay types and meal plans

Tented camps, safari lodges and private houses describe different accommodation formats. A furnished tent can have proper beds and an ensuite bathroom; a lodge room and a whole house have their own room and service arrangements. The chosen room category determines beds, permitted occupancy and bathroom provision.

Bed and breakfast includes breakfast. Half board includes the specified daily meals; full board includes breakfast, lunch and dinner. Drinks, transfers, game drives and wildlife-area fees have separate inclusions unless the accommodation product includes them. The meal basis appears beside the starting price.

Suitability labels identify accommodation associated with families, couples, photographers or small groups. Property-specific child admission, room sharing, mobility access and facilities determine the actual fit for each party. A family label does not replace the lodge’s own child and occupancy rules.

Prices and charging units

Each price panel states its charging basis. A per-person-sharing nightly amount, a whole-house nightly amount and a multi-night package total cover different products. Whole-house and package totals are not converted into per-person nightly figures.

The minimum and maximum price fields filter comparable USD per-person-sharing nightly amounts. Applying either field excludes whole-unit and package products that have no comparable amount on that basis. Clearing the range brings those products back into the results.

Travel dates, room type, occupancy and included services determine the final price. Accommodation tariffs and complete safari prices cover different services. The individual profile sets out the recorded accommodation basis; a complete private safari quote includes its scheduled wildlife-area fees and compulsory selected-property charges.

Accommodation and private safari arrangements

An accommodation-only booking covers the stated stay and its listed inclusions. A complete safari also connects the property with arrival transport, guiding, wildlife drives and the scheduled places visited. Camp activities, airstrip transfers and a private safari vehicle are distinct services.

Our safari arrangements provide private vehicles and guiding for the travelling party.
